Description: The Institute for Research and Education on Women and Gender (IREWG) was founded in 1997. The Institute brings together scholars from diverse schools and departments to foster collaborative research, expand education in women’s and feminist studies, and serve both the University and the broader community. The IREWG web site was designed to introduce the goals, mission, and activities of the Institute, as well as to act as an information resource for research on women’s and gender issues.

The web site was designed to be universally accessible, on both graphic and text browsers, and from varying connection speeds.  The website is an online forum for scholars, students, writers, and researchers to share their views.
