Description:  Kenyon is one of the nation’s top, private, residential liberal-arts colleges.  One of the goals of the redesign is to convey an aesthetic that feels like Kenyon’s small and welcoming community.  To create a feeling of intimacy, several design solutions are used - the school’s color (royal purple) has been shifted for a better onscreen purple and used as an accent rather than a dominant theme, soft corner curves have been added to highlight areas, round photos are used for people profiles to add a sense of “looking in or out,” and the palette selected is calm and pleasant (and reminiscent of spring when paired with campus photos of brilliant green grass and fall foliage).
