Description:  The Switala Foundation supports creativity and innovation in the arts and media.  It is named after Tim Switala, a creative innovator, who dedicated his life to helping others think outside the box. Switala, a Buffalo, NY native, touched the lives of the creative community through his work as a producer, publicist, writer, musician, and prankster and is cited by many as a major influence and mentor, as well as a valued friend.  “I think that someone who was that inspiring to us...to see this positive influence carry on through him and the work that he did is a pretty huge thing.  The fact that his energy can still be a catalyst for people to do new and creative things - well, that’s what it’s all about,” said Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls.  The website promotes information about the foundation, upcoming events, and mailing lists and is designed with Tim’s aesthetic and spirit in mind.
